In 2010, The Miami Dolphins launched the Dolphins Cancer Challenge, a two-day cycling event aimed at raising funds for innovative cancer research.
The Water Tap was selected as a partner to provide geographically disperse water stations without a direct water connection. The challenge was managing 5 different water station locations along the 54-mile cycle route to ensure riders were able to stay hydrated in the Miami heat.
Our team worked around the clock to ensure that riders had access to water at designated locations throughout the race and executed on the logistics that meant every rider had access to clean, cold-filtered water.
The event was a groundbreaking success, boasting record breaking participation and fundraising of $12M. All while every rider stayed hydrated.
